Where do you start? This is an absolute masterpiece and one of the best in France. The course uses the rolling hills and the lower, flatter forest area in the valley to create a beautiful work of art.
The course had a recent facelift on some of the holes in 2002, but the overall feel wasn’t affected. The front nine requires precise approach play whilst the back nine requires long and regular drives.
Wide fairways and plenty of water can make an interesting mix! The length of tees can make it challenging for experienced golfers and sloppy shots are penalised by large bunkers.
The course was designed to offer numerous and diverse emotions, with varied vegetation, plenty of water obstacles, raised tees and all enhanced by a beautiful Provencal environment.
The course is wonderful, offering unspoilt, limitless Mediterranean vistas on a number of the holes. Designed by Ronald Fream, the course is ranked in the top French courses.
